Trip to Virginia

This month has been INSANE!!!!! Sorry about not having a blog up this month! Things have really truly been crazy. Katie is living with us, which is great. She's been taking Emma to the library, the pool, and just helping around the house. I've been working like a maniac, and Matt took a summer school class and is now prepping for a 3 day intense class right before the fall semester starts.

Emma is doing well. She's building up to full sentences, putting things together like "see ya later" "be right back" and stuff like that. She's also starting to think through descriptions and say things like "big dog" and "Michael's paci" and things like that. Michael has discovered his hands and takes plenty of time during the day to snack on them. He loves to laugh, and definitely likes one on one time.

As you can see from the pictures, we went to Virginia and visited Uncle Rick and Aunt Amy. I took pictures at the bakery, and Emma had fun hanging out with "wick" and "aynee". She LOVED Amy. She still talks about her a lot.

Well, I hope that my next post does not take as long to put up.
